Drivers Education should not be rushed - please give yourself enough time to get plenty of practice in between lessons. 10 hours of instruction alone is not enough to get you ready for a road test. As with any other skill, you need to practice.

With regard to questions concerning road tests.

ABOUT US

Street Wise Driving School provides driving courses at the best rates in Red Deer and other cities in Central Alberta. Fully government-approved, we offer a variety of class options, but our goal during our nearly three decades in business has always been the same – to have you finish your course as a safe and confident driver. During the classroom sessions, you will go over the basics: things you need to be aware of when you are driving, rules of the road, proper procedures behind the wheel and much more. There is a multiple choice government test at the end of the course and the in-car portion is also evaluated.

LOCATIONS

  • Red Deer

  • Lacombe

  • Rocky Mountain House

  • Drayton Valley

  • Ponoka

  • Rimbey

  • Wetaskiwin

We can sometimes accommodate out of area bookings. Please contact our office for information about minimum class sizes and availability.

Please don't leave driver training to the last minute. Starting a few months in advance not only gives your student more time to practice proper habits, it also gives them enough time to complete the program! We will try to accommodate their busy schedules, but it is important to leave time to practice to make sure they are really getting a handle on those skills.
